What You Will Learn

01

Fundamentals 101

Students will learn fudamentals and techniques of Lighting / Lookdev / Compositing using Maya, Arnold, Nuke and Substance painter with an emphasis on using a LightRig, Turn Table, Color theory, HDR interior or exterior and a good understanding of different type of materials. Students will learn how to separate a render into different layers, to be composited back  together in Nuke.

Principles 102

This course builds upon the principles and techniques using Maya and Vray, Nuke, Substance with an emphasis on more technical tips and tricks to optimize a faster workflow. Students will closely examine to gain an understanding of matching a lighting to a plate and integrate an asset in a shot, resolve noise issues. Students continue to expand their understanding of more combination of texture and how to effectively use it as a part of lighting solutions.

Principles 103

This course will take you through more advanced principles and techniques using Maya with Vray and Katana with Renderman and Nuke. Students will emphasize how to get a feature film quality. Students will closely examine cartoon and realistic movie references, optimize shading and Render Settings, builds interactive render filters. Students continue to expand their understanding with different types of templates solutions and tools.

Fundamentals 104

Students will learn fundamentals and techniques of Houdini in Lighting / LookDev using Mantra, Solaris. Students will learn node based workflow. Building procedural asset will be a part of the courses. Students will combine all their previous knowledge to learn more tools.
